Oatmeal with eggs, banana, berries, nuts, and honey

Oatmeal is healthy, filling, and high in fiber and can be served in so many more exciting ways than in a bowl of raisins and sugar.

Try this wonderful variation of the traditional breakfast. With a few ingredients, the oatmeal is creamy, sweet, and super healthy. 

Ingredients (for 2 pers.)

2 dl oatmeal

2 dl water

2 dl skim milk

2 eggs

1 tsp. ginger powder

1 tsp. sugar

½ tsp. salt


1 banana

2 handfuls of berries

2 handfuls of nuts

A little honey

This is what you do

  • Boil water, milk, and oatmeal in a saucepan. 
  • When the porridge is almost cooked, add eggs, salt, ginger powder, and sugar. 
  • Take the porridge off the heat and stir well until everything is well mixed.
  • Cut the banana into cubes or slices and decorate the porridge with them, as well as berries, nuts, and honey.
  • Serve immediately.
